A low headline price leaves plenty of important questions unanswered. Take this list to the provider before committing.
- Who is responsible for my care? Ask for the prescribing service, dispensing pharmacy and the relevant registration details.
- How is suitability assessed? Find out how the service checks your history and current medicines, and who reviews them.
- What exactly does the quoted price include? Confirm the product, quantity, supply period, consultation, delivery and additional fees.
- Who can I contact between orders? Ask how clinical questions and side effects are handled, including out-of-hours arrangements.
- What am I committing to? Check renewal, cancellation, pauses and any early-exit charges.
- What happens if treatment changes? Ask how the service manages a prescription change, an unsuitable treatment or an unavailable product.
- What support continues afterwards? Clarify follow-up, records and the limits of any included support.
A provider's own statement of registration is a starting point. Confirm the relevant organisation and professional details with the appropriate official register. This directory has not completed those checks for every listing.
